The Woodland Shelter
Within our own Woodlands, set in the rolling North Devon countryside near South Molton, we have built a venue which is available for group events and wedding ceremonies. A hardened track usually used for woodland work enables access straight to the Venue which has a timber platform, an area of hard standing, and a floored Woodland Shelter.

Woodland Weddings
The Woodland Shelter is a registered wedding venue sited deep within the woods, it is suitable for couples who wish to do things a little differently and be married within a woodland environment.
This allows the entire ceremony to be carried out at one venue which has been approved by the Devon Register Office for the carrying out of Civil Ceremonies (Please see Devon County Council website) . |
The Venue was originally created to provide a way in which we could legally get married in woodland surroundings, and we would like to give other couples the opportunity to use the venue, to celebrate their special day.
Group Events
We also like to cater for trainers who desire a small work area to carry out activities in a peaceful woodland environment, which has a running river nearby.
This could include hiring the venue out for small school groups, culture groups or holistic training groups. |
