Valley Forestry offers a wide range of forest services for public, conservation or private clients.
We also work with forestry agents on local estates and carry out work for other contractors to include felling cordwood for firewood merchants or moving timber for tree surgeons with our forwarding trailer or winches. |

Using our own experienced and qualified teams we carry out all woodland management services including:
- Timber harvesting (both clearfell and thinning) and extraction
- Woodland management and maintenance including ride cutting
- Roadside vegetation management
- Planting schemes from single trees to whole woodlands
- Plantation maintenance including interow mowing, chemical weeding and beating up
- Coppicing of sweet chestnut and hazel
- Laurel and rhododendron control

We hold Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000 and our operators are qualified to NPTC standard. They carry additional training including Forest Machine Operator Certification and Emergency First Aid.

Where required we can supply method statements or risk assessments to the Arboriculture and Forestry Advisory Group (AFAG) guidelines.
